The Mississippi Coast Mustang
Club was founded in 1980 by Jack Wilbanks. In 1981
the MCMC became a regional group of the Mustang Club of
America. Later in 1986
we incorporated as a Mississippi Non-Profit Organization.
The club was created for the
preservation and love of the Ford Mustang. We welcome
all who own or those who simply have a love for the Mustang or
any Ford Product.
Over the years our club has become an integral part of the local community. We have
been actively involved in Cruisin' the Coast since it's beginning back in 1996. We also have
our annual drag race which is a fund raiser for the
Make-A-Wish foundation as well as
other
local charities. In 2001, our club was awarded the
GoldenRule Award by
Eagle One in
recognition of our charitable works.
The MCMC has a long
standing tradition of promoting the Mustang through our annual
shows,
which began with our first show in 1981, held at Rice Pavilion. Today,
we hold our
shows in the climate-controlled comfort of the
Mississippi Coast Coliseum. In 1983, 1984,
2000, and 2004 we played host for MCA National
Shows. And in 1987, we were the host
club for an MCA Grand National Event! We welcome you to our site and to our
club!
Enjoy yourself while here! And keep your hooves
on the asphalt, and keep reaching for
your time-slip!
